Alyssa Leger
ALYSSA LEGER began her training in 2001 with the Dance Conservatory, the official school of Lafayette Ballet Theatre. As a student, Alyssa performed several roles in LBT's production of The Nutcracker. She also performed both White Cat and Generous Fairy in the company's production of The Sleeping Beauty. Alyssa participated in summer programs with the School of American Ballet in New York (2008-2010), Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, WA, and Boston Ballet. In 2010, studied on scholarship with the Miami City Ballet. In 2011, she studied on full scholarship as a Professional Division student at Pacific Northwest Ballet School, where she also performed with the company productions including Stowell's The Nutcracker, Ratmansky's Don Quixote, and Balanchine's Coppelia. In 2012, Alyssa accepted a contract with Boston Ballet II, Apprentice program of Boston Ballet. With Boston Ballet, she performed in ballets including Balanchine's Symphony in C and Coppelia; Nissinen's The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty, and Boston Ballet's Resident Choreographer, Jorma Elo's Lost by Last. In 2013, Alyssa returned to Lafayette, and she is starting her first contracted season with LBT.
