Lafayette Ballet Theatre is committed to offering a spectrum of programs that inform and enrich our community.
Arts in Education Series offers classroom demonstrations (Approximate length: 30 min.) on-site in local elementary through high schools. Demonstrations are scheduled through the Acadiana Arts Council's 'Arts in Education' programs.
A Night at the Ballet provides over 250 complimentary performance tickets annually to children and their families seeking assistance in area shelters.
Dance Chance classes provide 12 weeks of dance lessons, without charge, on site at area Clubs and camps.
Discover Dance is a statewide arts education program for Girl Scouts and Brownie Troops, providing the opportunity for young girls to spend a day with the dancers and Directors of LBT during Nutcracker rehearsals/ performances.
Dance Education Scholarship awarded to talented students who have received acceptance to study with professional ballet schools across the nation, and who meet the financial need requirement.
Student Discounts offer high school and college age students 50% off on performance tickets.
Pre-Performance Talks is a stimulating 30 minute discussion with LBT's Director, providing an insider's look into the Ballet.
