2017 SUMMER BALLET PROGRAM
Classes for Pre-professional and Children from age 8*
 
*Students over the age of 19 years are not accepted in the summer program,
with the exception of professional artists of Lafayette Ballet Theatre.
 
SESSIONS 1  June, 2017
               Intermediate I: June 20 - 29 (2 weeks)
        Intermediate II: June 6 - 17 (2 weeks)
        Intermediate III: June 5 - 23 (3 weeks)
 Advanced: June 5 - 29 (4 weeks)

SESSION 2  August, 2017  
        Intermediate I: August 8 - 17 (2 weeks)

       Intermediate II: August 22 - 31 (2 weeks)

        Intermediate III: August 7 - 25 (3 weeks) 
    Advanced: August 7 - 31 (4 weeks)
                     
 
 MONDAY:            4:00 - 6:00 / Intermediate III Ballet Technique Class     
6:00 - 8:00 / Advanced Ballet Technique (or) Pointe Class

 

TUESDAY:          4:00 - 5:30 / Intermediate I Ballet Technique Class
                               4:00 - 5:30 / Intermediate II Ballet Technique Class
                               5:30 - 6:00 / Intermediate II Pointe Class
6:00 - 8:00 / Advanced Pointe Class
           

WEDNESDAY:   4:00 - 6:00 / Intermediate III Technique Class (or) Pointe Class  

6:00 - 8:00 / Advanced Pointe Class

           

THURSDAY:       4:00 - 5:30 / Intermediate I Ballet Technique Class
                               4:00 - 5:30 / Intermediate II Ballet Technique Class
                               5:30 - 6:00 / Intermediate II Pointe Class
6:00 - 8:00 / Advanced Pointe Class

 

FRIDAY:             4:00 - 5:30 / Intermediate II Ballet Technique Class
                             5:30 - 7:00 / Intermediate III Ballet Technique Class (or) Pointe Class
 
Intermediate I Level is appropriate for students ages 8 -9 with previous ballet study,
or currently participating in Dance Conservatory's Level B-1.                                            
Intermediate II Level appproximate ages: 10 - 12 yrs.  (Winter levels B-II & C)
Intermediate III Level approximate ages: 13 - 16 yrs. (Winter level D)
Advanced Level requires great strength and proficiency in pointe work and classical technique.
 
Students over the age of 19 years are not accepted in the summer program,
with the exception of professional artists of Lafayette Ballet Theatre.
 
Acceptance into Dance Conservatory 2017 Summer Programs requires a placement class.
